A 53 year old mechanic sustained injuries to his neck and low back due to a rear end automobile collision. He required a cervical fusion operation, followed by a second surgery for laminotomy, as well as multiple steroid injections. The injuries did not prevent him from returning to his normal work activity following treatment.
